We heard from San Francisco today regarding the research trial that Mark may be a candidate for. After talking with them, we are about certain that we will be making a trip out there in February so they can determine if he is suited for the procedure. They spent a lot of time explaining to us what would be happening in the time we would be there. They told us that it was on a first come first serve thing as far as being considered, but we were #3 in line. If Mark's MRI shows the condition existing which it does, he will be seen out there to see if he fully qualifies. We are quite thrilled, but everything comes with a price. To help cover the bills while we would be out there, I have sold my best sign to RE. There is a chance that Mark could be helped greatly by this trial. But we have to pay our bills too and Robert's offer was quite good. Not quite what I hoped to get for it, but if I waited longer, other NJ shields may have surfaced and driven the price down. I figured I would sell it sooner or later and Robert's offer was too close to what I wanted for it to turn it down. When it comes to my son's health, no sacrifice is going to be too much.
